We told you to watch out for these guys.

Occupying a movement on their own accord, Granston Display have taken some monumental steps towards world domination. Having released their self titled debut EP in March to playing all around town and most recently at Melbourne signature all ages festival The Push Over.

If you’ve got the EP but haven’t seen them live I still need your attention. You’ll find a pretty little gem in the live set you won’t have heard before.

‘Here Come The Punches’  throws your mind into a musical jumping castle from the very beginning with a wipeout-esque guitar wobble. It’s fast paced and catchy as all hell. Thrashy chords create a foundation for the cheeky high hat and hypnotising cow bell. The bridges encapsulate James’ vocal range and add another dimension to the already solidified groove established, not to mention allow your ears to digest what they’ve just been exposed to.

Note: you’ll be asked to smell the track at 2:08.. please do so, it’s like a rich mahogany.

I’ll have whatever they’re selling.
