Planète is the solo project of Melbourne instrumentalist/producer Dion Tartaglione -Whom also happens to be a beloved friend of us here at Partyaids. We are excited to be bringing you his brand new EP titled ‘You,’ – Definitely worth a listen on a lonely afternoon enjoying a sunset. Dion’s works continue along the ever-mesmerising path that his back catalogue has taken. This time with a greater emphasis on his own vocal skill, as exemplified in ‘Always.’ As per usual the guitar work is exceptional and always manages to evoke the exact feelings of the songs, no matter how full or minimal it may be.
Production has also been stepped up a notch with percussion taking on a more stripped back approach – Reminding me a lot of Mount Kimbie. As a whole this is some great emotion-fuelled music and very, very relaxing. Seriously, this guy would be able to chill the centre of the Earths core.
Massive win for our ears.
