The Shiny Brights

A single guitar hook usually sells me, but in the case of The Shiny Brights – I’m sold by much more than that.

Let me tell you, there’s nothing lethargic about the music they play; it’s raw, it’s in your face and it’s travelling at serious velocity. If you don’t believe me ask the guys, they describe their show was ‘a bull in a china shop’. Having supported artists like The Wombats, The Vines, The Living End, The Grates and many more, The Shiny Brights are no stranger to the big stage.

They rehearse in a warehouse full of washing machines, which inspired the band name, derived from a laundromat franchise in Adelaide called Shiny Brights.

Have a listen to ‘Not Too Old’ and let me know what you think.
